Folk phytotherapy has preserved an invaluable experience of treatment of different diseases gained by years for the next generations. Not by chance a Russian naturalist I.I.Lepekhin wrote that 'the best remedies were discovered not by the speculations of scientists but by the application of common people'.
'Gepar' can be included in such remedies. The efficiency of 'Gepar' for numerous diseases of different genesis often causes misunderstanding while discussing the functioning principle of this medicine. Regarding the complex of biologically active substances of 25 herbs of 'Gepar' we can state that it has a multiple therapeutic effect and not a narrow one.
'Gepar' has come into a medical practice from folk doctors. Of course, it is balanced in its ingredients, compatibility of medical components and in the dozes used. The dozes are very little - less than 40 mg per one herb. Hence a good tolerance of this complex and a 'homeopathic effect'.
We think that one very important specific feature of 'Gepar' effect hasn't been pointed out yet. The unique herbal complex 'Gepar' has an antihypoxic and an antioxidant effects. In other words, it is able to destroy a hypoxia in organs, systems and the whole organism.
The terms 'hypoxia', 'oxygen deficiency', 'oxygen starvation', 'hypoxic state' have the same meaning. Hypoxia is the state caused by the lack of oxygen supply or a disorder in its utilization. It develops with numerous diseases (a shock, a heart attack, a bronchial asthma, a pneumonia and many others) and substantially complicates the course of the main disease. We can name the following advantages of the antihypoxic complex 'Gepar':
1) The effects are always multiple, that means that a therapeutic effect is provided in many directions simultaneously: anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, immunothropic, antihypoxic, etc.
2) The ability to correct a negative effect of modern and 'old' medicines, firstly antimicrobial ones, such as antibiotics, sulfanylamids, glukokorticoids, etc.
3) It can be used for the treatment of pathological states which are followed by a hypoxia of different origin (genesis).
